A Message from the Life Center of Galax Team

Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in our program. We trust that you and your family will find the information you need to begin a journey towards recovery on these pages.

The Life Center of Galax has been providing quality addiction treatment for more than 50 years. At Life Center, you will never be “just another patient.”

You matter.

Our website has been designed to provide you with a wealth of information about our staff, programs, services, and philosophies. Beyond this information, we believe the commitment and passion of our staff will truly make a difference in your treatment experience.

If you choose to enter treatment at The Life Center you will find many options, all based on scientific research and evidence-based practices which will give you the best opportunity for sustaining your recovery. Twelve Step meetings remain an important part of the treatment experience. Specialty services, such as Prodigal, our Christian curriculum; and Opiate treatment which includes detoxification to drug-free treatment, maintenance options with Suboxone or Methadone or the use of Vivitrol, a nonnarcotic option for recovery support, all demonstrate the versatility we offer.

Recovery may begin at The Life Center, but we understand it is a lifelong process. Continuing care planning is a critical part of your treatment. You will leave our program with a comprehensive plan designed to support your ongoing recovery.

We are proud to have been a part of the community for over 50 years. Our staff is available to answer any questions you may have after visiting our website, and you can contact us by calling or requesting information from our contact page, where staff will respond to your emails.

Thank you again for your interest in our program. We wish you and your family the very best.

Sincerely,

The Life Center of Galax Team

Everyone was very friendly and always helpful during my stay which made treatment so much easier to go through.
